The Challenge Client required a store locator to display all their retail stores. It was built in spring and integrated using APIs with WP. Later on, the client required some modifications on the data and wanted to add a little more info about each store. But with the spring and API setup, it was not possible as we didn't had control over that since it's a compiled WAR file.

Fleet Studio's Solution Created a custom store locator using PHP and WP by integrating a third party API (zipcode download) and enabled all sorts of customisation. There were some performance issues on the previous setup, this solution cleared out all issues.

What We Learned Learned how Google API behaves and the feasibility in-terms of Lat/Long handling & Reverse Geo-Coding. Learned about few other APIs which do serve the purpose much more efficiently than the pioneers.
